Mark Benedetti is Ardian’s Executive President, where he chairs both the Executive Committee and Operations Committee, guiding the strategic direction and operational excellence of the firm. He is Co-Head of Ardian US.

Mark also runs the Secondaries & Primaries fund alongside Vladimir Colas, playing a crucial role in overseeing Ardian's largest investment strategy and portfolio management.

Mark Benedetti is also a dedicated member of the board of the Ardian Foundation, and Co-President of the Ardian US Foundation, where he actively contributes to the foundation's mission of fostering social impact and community development.

Mark Benedetti’s commitment to philanthropy is exemplified through his support of Year Up, a program that provides young people with valuable work experience. This initiative reflects his dedication to empowering the next generation and creating opportunities for growth and success.

Before joining Ardian in 2006, Mark Benedetti developed his skills and knowledge at KPMG Corporate Finance. There, he specialized in mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising within the firm's Advisor group, contributing to significant financial transactions and strategic advisory services. Prior to this position his tenure in corporate finance, Mark was part of KPMG’s Assurance group, where he developed a strong foundation in auditing and financial assurance.

Mark Benedetti's extensive experience and leadership have been instrumental in Ardian's success, making him a key figure in the firm's continued growth and innovation in the private equity landscape.

    During a recent Bloomberg interview at IPEM 2024 in Paris, Ardian Executive President Mark Benedetti shared his insights on the European investment landscape, the impact of regulatory and macroeconomic changes on private markets, along with the future outlook for the sector as public markets regain strength amid easing fiscal policies.

    In the Bloomberg interview at IPEM 2024, Mark highlighted Ardian’s expertise in elevating companies through expansion, emphasizing the significance of local presence as a success driver, due to varying regulations and market drivers across different geographies.

    Mark also shed light on the current state of private markets. He emphasized the lower volatility rates within private markets compared to public markets, almost a third, allowing private markets to provide strong returns over long durations, making the sector an attractive field for long-term investors.

As Europe’s largest infrastructure investor, Ardian is consistently contributing to bridging this gap.
