In 2019, Ardian acquired a stake in Hill Top Energy Center, a gas-fired power station in the US in the state of Pennsylvania. Hill top is a state-of-the-art gas-turbine power plant offering 620 MW. When construction is complete in mid-2021, Hill Top will sell capacity and energy to the Pennsylvania-Jersey-Maryland (PJM) regional transmission organization, the largest competitive power market in the United States.
The key to success for me is building a relationship with the existing management team. Within the business, it's not just the technology that is important, but actually the people.
