The Ardian Foundation announces that it has recently formed a partnership with Albero della Vita, a humanitarian organization focused on helping families most in need.

Since its creation, Albero della Vita has been committed, in Italy and internationally, to promoting effective actions aimed at ensuring the well-being of children, protecting and advocating their rights, and ensuring the development of children in adverse circumstances. Albero della Vita focuses on the most vulnerable areas, allowing these families and their children to overcome social isolation within their community. The Ardian Foundation is also partnering with The Human Safety Net, a Generali initiative whose mission is to unlock the potential of people living in vulnerable circumstances, so that they can transform the lives of their families and communities.

The Ardian Foundation will financially assist the Varcare la Soglia project run by Albero della Vita, whose aim is to support disadvantaged families with young children, enabling them to grow up in a more favorable environment and have a positive impact on their children's development. The program implants family centers in at-risk neighborhoods, thereby providing vulnerable families access to educational activities per age group and other essential services.

As part of this partnership, the Ardian Foundation will support to the Varcare la Soglia project, and more specifically its educational activities program for 0 to 6 year olds, which will help 160 families including over 300 children in Milan and Genoa.

“The Ardian Foundation is honored to partner with Albero della Vita. The Varcare la Soglia project they have set up is completely aligned with the Ardian Foundation’s strategic focus: helping young children and parents from underprivileged backgrounds access high quality services. This project helps families thrive in a comfortable environment. We're looking forward to working with Albero della Vita and taking this project even further.” Leopoldo Giandola, Senior Investment Manager, Buyout; Foundation Project Manager for Italy, Ardian

ABOUT ARDIAN FOUNDATION

Created in 2010 by Ardian employees, the Ardian Foundation’s beginnings took root in one main cause: helping children and young people from underprivileged backgrounds reach their full potential. The Foundation strives to work with partner charities and Ardian employees to promote social mobility for people from modest backgrounds from infancy to adulthood around the world. In 2023, the Ardian Foundation supported 49 partner charities in 10 countries with a €4m budget. The Ardian Foundation operates under the umbrella of the Fondation de France.
The Ardian Foundation has a special focus on early childhood development as many studies indicates that successful interventions at this stage can produce significant long‑term gains as children develop. These include improved academic attainment, professional integration, and health outcomes.
