The property has excellent connections to the rest of the city including the nearby 17th Century central canal district, which is a UNESCO world heritage historic site, and has easy access by ferry to the upcoming trendy district of Amsterdam North. Designed to offer a premium living experience, the residence features high-quality amenities including a cinema room, gym, yoga studio, swimming pool, and dedicated study areas. Alongside the student residence, the site also includes approximately 3,800 sqm of timber-framed office space, contributing to its mixed-use appeal. Originally initiated in 2018, the project was acquired by Henderson Park and Hines in 2019, with construction starting in 2021 and completion achieved in January 2024 under the Aparto brand. Since opening, the asset has maintained a very high occupancy, underscoring the strong demand for student accommodation in Barcelona. Built to meet the highest international standards in terms of both quality and sustainability, Cristóbal de Moura represents a successful response to the growing need for modern, well-located student housing in supply-constrained urban environments.
