Real Assets – physical infrastructure and real estate – are the essential enablers of all economic activity. We are long-term investors in Real Assets because they are the foundation on which our future prosperity rests. Achieving net zero carbon emissions over the coming decades will depend fundamentally on success in transforming our infrastructure and buildings so that they support the climate transition. We are committed to leading this effort.
We invest in real assets – the engines of economic growth
Ardian has owned and operated essential economic infrastructure for more than 15 years in Europe and the Americas, spanning the renewable energy, telecoms and transport sectors. Today, we are recognized globally for our industrial expertise in infrastructure, as well as our financial strength. Our Real Assets strategy also incorporates Real Estate, where we are a leading European player, transforming office buildings in major French, German, Italian and Spanish cities to create outstanding working environments with excellent ESG performance. Finally, through our Real Assets Debt activity, we provide senior loans to fund projects that aim to achieve material improvements in sustainability performance, particularly relating to the climate transition.

Real assets are working towards a net-zero world
Ardian manages its Real Assets portfolios with the aim of ensuring that they contribute as strongly as possible to the climate transition. We invest directly in renewable energy generation, with substantial capacity in Europe and the Americas, and have committed to reduce the carbon footprint of our infrastructure and real estate assets in line with the targets set in the Paris Agreement. We are also leading investors in the infrastructure that will be required to scale the hydrogen economy over the coming decades. In all our real estate projects, we seek the highest environmental certifications on completion, and establish a multi-decade roadmap towards net zero emissions for every building.
