Dedicated feeder funds
The main route for private clients around the world to access Ardian’s range of private market strategies will be via dedicated feeder funds set up by their private banks and wealth managers. These feeders allow to pool private-client money dedicated structures, allowing many more investors into Ardian funds while managing a single relationship with the fund, rather than multiple direct relationships with individual investors. In addition, it allows for investors to be accompanied by their advisor in the investment decision.
Private banking partnerships
Ardian has already agreed several feeder fund partnerships with banks, including one of the largest global Private Bank in the US and several European banks, which have channelled private-client money into several of our funds. The Private Wealth Solutions team is developing further relationships with wealth managers around the world, ranging from major international groups to local boutique players. Ardian is also developing new solutions to address new needs for private investors.
Institutional private clients
Although most private clients will be served via our growing network of wealth management partners, institutional private investors will continue to have direct relationships with us, including dedicated Investor Relations support. We are also maintaining direct relationships with “friends of Ardian” – founders and managers of the companies we invest in.
