    Barnes (NYSE:B) is a publicly traded holding company operating across two distinct divisions: Aerospace and Industrials. Barnes Aerospace make precision parts and systems used in airplanes, such as engines and turbines both for Original Equipment Manufacturers (“OEM”) and Aftermarket. Barnes Industrials produce specialized tools and components used in manufacturing. These products help factories operate more efficiently, like molds for plastics or automation equipment for robotics.

The Ardian team brought a deep sector knowledge, which I think allowed them not only to do a terrific job in that due diligence period, but also meant they could work very efficiently within our deal time frame.
