Facing the speed of AI

Following the success of its 2024 and 2025 editions, Ardian renews the “Ai × Ai: Artificial Intelligence for Alternative Investment” conference in 2026, this time exploring the dimension of time in the age of AI.

Artificial intelligence moves at its own pace. It speeds up product cycles, shortens decision windows, and shifts competitive dynamics faster than many organizational structures, regulatory frameworks, and investment horizons were originally designed for. This creates a growing gap between how quickly AI evolves and the pace at which businesses, institutions, and markets adapt.

This edition places time at the center of the conversation. Not as an abstract notion, but as a concrete strategic variable: the interval between innovation and organizational adaptation, the interplay between regulatory intent and technical reality, the balance between the short cycles of innovation and the long horizons of private equity. Understanding and working with these different tempos is becoming one of the defining competencies of the decade.

This conference continues the thematic arc begun in 2024 (AI adoption in operating models) and pursued in 2025 (AI sovereignty and geopolitics): having examined how organizations integrate AI and within what political framework, we now ask at what rhythm, and how organizations can time their moves to make the most of it.
