Current yield return and protection against inflation and economic cycles. Infrastructure has a low correlation with other asset classes and offers protection against inflation and economic cyclicality. Yields are also steady and have good long-term visibility. Particular areas of focus include transport (rail, road and airports), energy (gas, electricity and renewable energy), telecom and other public infrastructure assets (health and environmental). Ardian Infrastructure will continue working closely with local public and private stakeholders.

The Augmented Infrastructure. Ardian Infrastructure has carried out industry-leading work on the opportunities for infrastructure owners and investors from the digitalization of the asset class. The Augmented Infrastructure report explains how the blending of digital services with physical assets can create new revenue opportunities for infrastructure owners. Ardian assesses its portfolio regularly using the benchmarks set out in Augmented Infrastructure.

At the heart of the European Infrastructure sector. In 2018 Ardian Infrastructure realized a succession of strategically important transactions in Europe and North America. Ardian Infrastructure became the world’s second-biggest owner of toll roads with significant presence in Italy, Brazil, Portugal, Spain and France following the acquisition of a 40% stake in Gavio group in addition to previous toll road transaction.
