    Founded in 1960, Palacios is a leading producer of Spanish provenance products and other ready meals. The company has sustained a leader position in all its categories over time. It sells Spanish omelets, chilled pizza, frozen desserts and chorizo in more than 25 different countries and has a solid and longstanding commercial relationship with both retailers and foodservices. Palacios offers private label products and operates under several brands such as Palacios, Fuentetaja, Floristán, Alinaco, San Martin or Quijote. Additionally, it maintains co-branding agreements with global players like Unilever or Mondelez to sell frozen desserts under their strategic brands. Palacios has five production state-of-the-art sites in Spain and one in the US.

The Ardian team brought a deep sector knowledge, which I think allowed them not only to do a terrific job in that due diligence period, but also meant they could work very efficiently within our deal time frame.
