It’s not enough to say a new technology works; you have to prove it. Ardian is committed to performing scientifically rigorous pre-clinical and clinical studies. Current studies are focused on establishing the safety and effectiveness of the system in reducing blood pressure in patients with hypertension uncontrolled by medical therapy. Future studies will be aimed at assessing the treatment’s impact on heart failure and chronic kidney disease.

Clinical studies of the Symplicity® Catheter System in patients with uncontrolled hypertension and chronic kidney disease are currently underway in centers across the US, Europe and Australia. We are recruiting high-quality centers to participate in this potentially ground-breaking research.
