Dominique Senequier is President of Ardian since 1996. She was made a Chevalier of the Legion of Honour.
Dominique Senequier joined the AXA group in 1996 when she founded AXA Private Equity, which became Ardian in 2013. Today, the company manages and advises US$66 billion of assets, with a team of more than 480 employees based in 12 offices across the world. Dominique began her career as an insurance commissioner at the French Ministry of Economy before joining GAN Group, where she was in charge of private equity investments. Dominique later became “Directeur Général de GAN Participations”. She was awarded the prestigious Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur by the French state in 2012 and is also vice-president of the supervisory board of Hermes.
Vincent Gombault is Head of Funds of Funds and Private Debt activities since 1998
Before joining Ardian in 1998, where he now develops and leads the Fund of Funds business, Vincent Gombault worked in AXA Group’s Industrial Holdings department from 1991 to 1998, after a spell as Investment Manager in the M&A department of Société Générale. He began his career at the French Trade Commission in Detroit, USA.
Benoît Verbrugghe is head of the New York Office since 2010.
Benoît Verbrugghe joined Ardian’s Fund of Funds team as an intern in 1999. He spent the next 11 years in Paris before becoming Head of Ardian’s New York office in July 2010. Benoît Verbrugghe began his career in 1998 working in M&A at a consulting firm. He has been a Board member of the Ardian Foundation since 2010 and President of the Ardian Foundation USA since 2012.
Mark Benedetti is Co‑Head of Ardian USA since 2016.
Mark Benedetti joined Ardian in 2006. Before joining Ardian, he was an Associate with KMPG Corporate Finance where he focused on Mergers, Acquisitions, and Capital Raising advisory. He began with KPMG in 2002 in their Assurance group and was a Senior Accountant on mandates such as Celestica Inc., and AT&T Canada. From 2000-2001, he was a Consultant to Finance and Treasury at Bell Canada Enterprises (BCE), while attending university.
Mathias Burghardt is Head of the Infrastructure activity.
Mathias joined Ardian in 2007. Previously, he joined the AXA Group to set up and head its Infrastructure investment business. Prior to this, he was Head of HSBC Advisory and Project Financing in France. Mathias started his career in 1989 with Credit Lyonnais in Media Telecom. He has developed extensive relationships with European infrastructure industrial and financial sponsors, public authorities and regulators. Mathias has over 25 years of experience in the infrastructure and energy sectors globally.
Vladimir Colas is Co‑Head of Ardian USA since 2016.
Vladimir Colas joined Ardian in 2003. He previously worked in Exane BNP Paribas’ sell-side equity research department, worked with Hertz France’s corporate finance department and Divento.com, where he was Assistant to the CFO.
Olivier Decannière is Head of Ardian UK.
Olivier Decannière joined Ardian in 2001. He began his career at Société Générale in the M&A division (1996). He subsequently joined the French American Chamber of Commerce in New York as Head of Business Development and Investor Relations from 1997-1998, before becoming Investment Manager for Renaissance Investissements a Private Equity fund specializing in distressed and special situations (1999-2000).
Jérémie Delecourt is Head of the Corporate Development, Human Resources, Communications and Middle Office activities.
Jérémie Delecourt joined Ardian in 2004. He came from the buyout fund Activa Capital where he had been an analyst since 2000. He started his career with iBazar where he was in charge of international development. Jérémie Delecourt leads the Corporate Development, Communications, Human Resources and Funds Finance departments.
Philippe Poletti is Head of the Buyout activity.
Philippe Poletti joined Ardian in 1999 where he has led numerous successful deals (Spotless Group, Icare, Cornhill France, Outremer Telecom, Larivière, Anios). As Head of the Buyout team he has overseen its development into a pan-European activity. Philippe’s career began at Solving International, in 1994 he joined Desnoyers Group as Business Development Manager, later going on to become a special consultant to the President. From 1997-1999, he was Head of Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestments at DMC, a textile group.
Nicolò Saidelli is Head of Ardian Buyout Italy since 2013.
Nicolò Saidelli joined Ardian in 2008 as a Director within the Buyout team with the responsibility of the Italian Investments based in Milan. Prior to joining Ardian, he worked since 2003 within the L Capital fund as a Partner and Manager of the Italian office. He also worked within GE Equity Italia, Salomon Smith Barney, Lehman Brothers, the Richemont Group, Canal Plus and Olivetti Group.
Jan Philipp Schmitz is Co‑Head of Ardian Germany and Head of Ardian Asia.
Jan Philipp Schmitz joined Ardian in 2005. Previously he worked at Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen, working for Private Equity clients in transaction advisory services. He has a dual role spanning the investment side while also servicing investors globally.
